Artist Statement

My artwork explores the intersections of dissociation, trauma, and healing. Each piece reflects shifting emotional landscapes, tracing how the body and mind process experiences that are often unseen or unspoken. Over time, I’ve noticed how my colors evolve, revealing emotional tones and psychological states I had not consciously anticipated.

The paintings embrace the non-linear nature of recovery. Joy and lightness often sit alongside grief, anger, and uncertainty. Rather than resolving these tensions, the work holds space for contradiction and ambiguity. Together, the pieces convey solitude, internal chaos, and the gradual return to self.

While each canvas is unique, they are connected by a thread: the intimate and invisible work of survival. This body of work invites viewers to sit with discomfort, with softness, and with questions—just as healing requires.
